I had a great time at this hotel! The breakfast was really good, offering a nice variety, and the underground parking felt very safe. the internet was incredibly slow at times.

Terrible smell from old carpets throughout the hall and rooms. Poor quality bedding and pillows left much to be desired. AC system broken during peak summer, leaving only the option to open windows, which required a signed waiver. Power outlets conveniently lacking near the bed, making charging devices a hassle. Bath gel dispenser empty for the entire stay, indicating poor housekeeping.

absoluteley disappointed with the heating, as my room fluctuated between sauna and igloo. internet was worse than dial-up, I expected at least high-speed for my stay. and where was my complimentary upgrade? as a valued guest, I thought I deserved something special, but it seems I was just another number. almost gave 5 stars, but just couldn’t.

It was just a proper fit for a weekend breather in Cologne with good value. The bar was perfect for a quick light meal after a long day exploring. Try to explore the city center instead of just hitting the bar!

Decent location but needs cleanliness improvements

I stayed there for four nights in a Standard Double Room. The room was decent, and the location was good for getting around, with a tram station about a 7-minute walk away. the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, and I found the lack of power outlets near the bed quite inconvenient.

Family with children a decent stay

The staff were friendly! they even helped us navigate the public transport to get to the attractions, which saved us a lot of time. Also the rooms were clean and comfortable, full length mirror was nice touch for getting ready.

It wasn't cheap, but given the comfort, I’d say it’s still alright.
